How do I get our school on this pre-apprenticeship track and how fast can that happen? Our local CTC is not terribly helpful when it comes to taking our students AND some of our kids need the alternate pathway as they struggle to get the EOC minimums they need now that the COVID points have dried up.

Do the businesses we partner with need to sign some type of agreement ?

I was under the impression that pre-apprenticeship scenarios needed to be linked to employers that have a registered apprenticeship program. It has been easy to link to employers in the skilled trades/unions, and manufacturing. How does establishing a pre-apprenticeship work in a pathway that doesn't have such a well defined apprenticeship program on the back end? Is this different? Can you share how that process works for that type of employer?
